In the framework of World Environment Day 2018, CNVP Korca held an education activity in Prespa National Park for two schools from Korca and Pustec municipalities.
CNVP invited students from Vithkuq and Gorica schools to address issues of sustainable development, as well as the importance of forests and community forestry. The students learnt about biodiversity and wildlife, and how humans can live in harmony with nature. It was the first time that two schools had attended a common field trip. This helped both teachers and students to increase their knowledge about environmental issues.
The activity was funded through the Forests for Local Economic Development project that is supported by the Embassy of Sweden and implemented by CNVP Albania.
